Susan Straub 

Susan Straub is an emerging writer of children’s books at 80. Her first picture book Gaga Mistake Day is a collaboration with her daughter Emma Straub and the brilliant illustrator Jessica Love.

Because of her belief that picture books are powerful and essential for all families, she developed and ran a creative family-reading program, Read To Me. Many anecdotes and reading tips found their way into a guidebook titled Reading with Babies, Toddlers & Twos. Susan was married to Peter Straub for 56 years. Now she lives in Brooklyn wonderfully near two of three grandsons, two grand-cats and the magical family- owned bookstore Books Are Magic.
